On June 20, we celebrate the summer solstice with the ultimate yoga challenge - 108 Sun Salutations. Led by Zaaki and some of his yoga teacher friends. - we will flow through 12 sets of 9 Surya Namaskar A*, followed by a long Savasana.

Sounds like A LOT. Can I modify or take breaks?
Absolutely! Please modify the practice to suit your needs and your body. Bring your knees down if you need to, swap your backbends, take breaks whenever it suits you.
I practice in a chair/ wheelchair. Can I join?
Everyone is welcome. Zaaki has a few chairs available, please make contact at the time of booking to secure one for yourself.
How long will it take?
We expect the sun salutations portion of the flow to take about an hour. The pace of the sets will vary throughout the session according to the lead teacher, music tempo etc. We hope to have time for at least 10 minutes of Savasana.

This event will take place on the grassy infield at the Tooting Bec Athletics Track.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to check in and set up your mat, etc. There will be a short briefing before we get into the yoga where you will be introduced to the yoga teachers and
Will mats be provided?
There are some mats available, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats - there is also the option to ground and go matless on the grass.
What else do I need?
Wear the comfortable clothing that you would wear in a normal yoga class.
A refillable water bottle, there are dispensers at the venue.
Sunscreen is recommended, we will be practicing outdoors on the longest day of the year.
Maybe a towel.
